i think i'm going to go to a guest lecturer on friday. he's a budhist monk. it's also my moms birthday on friday. she's going to be 53 i think... maybe 52... i can't remember

got back from italy at about midnight last night (6am rome time) The trip overall was really awesome, though there were a few negatives.

I took about 500 pictures, so it may take me some time to figure out how to get all of them online, but i really want to organize them so that I'll be able to remember where stuff was later.

Pros of the Trip:

- I saw the pope in his pope mobile)
- I walked on the same stones as Julius Cesear
- Gelato is delicious... as is all italian food
- my cousin and i actually like each ot her
- i have now seen almost every major european art piece in the world
- i saw things that are over 2000 years old
- Free espresso cups
- seeing the necropolis under st peters and seeing st peters bones
- Marco


Cons of the Trip:

- My grandmother walks really slow
- 9 hour flights are not fun
- I got a nasty head cold in Florence
- running into Megan Turner at the pantheon
- Not speaking basically any of the language
- 6 hour time difference

the single worst thing about getting used to sharing a bed with another person is that then when alone it becomes difficult to get to sleep. last night for an hour i would start to fall asleep directly into a nightmare and wake myself up after about 2 minutes. then afterwards it was so hot in my room that i ended up kicking off all the blankets and sheets. ugh and now i'm all groggy

boo. the only two real exams i have (not projects/papers) are at the same time.

nate and i aren't really into the anniversary thing, and he doesn't read this even if we were. But it's been 6 months today since we officially started going out. So yay for me!

in other news i feel like crap, i think i've got some sort of head cold >_
